Admin, Mailroom Supervisor

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and lead a team of office assistant in providing full scope of mailroom services
  • Plan and organize duties for office assistants
  • Day-to-day deployment of manpower to ensure completion of assignments
  • Attend to ad hoc requests for office administration / mailroom services
  • Assume duties of Office Assistant, when necessary
Requirements:
  • Minimum secondary education
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Personable and service-oriented attitude

Bancassurance, Administrative Officer (Perm & Contract)

Responsibilities:
  • Provide efficient and high quality services to customers and stakeholders
  • Support customer service, business development, operations and reports
  • Ensure business handled is within scope of authority granted, and in line with the Company’s underwriting guidelines, control procedures and service standards
  • Assist in monitoring outstanding premiums and implement the company’s credit control policy
Requirements:
  • GCE ‘O’ Level / GCE ‘A’ Level
  • Relevant qualifications in general insurance (minimum CGI)

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and grow the business portfolio with bank partner
  • Develop new products and marketing initiatives to support Bank as a distribution channel
  • Provide professional services and support to Bank and their clients
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Monitor outstanding premiums and implement the company’s credit control policy
  • Ensure compliance with all laws, regulatory provisions and Company policies as are relevant to the role

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification &/or professional insurance qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Provide helpdesk on production support to internal departments
  • System administration of IT systems
  • Support department in user acceptance test (UAT)
  • Assist in UAT and IT integration activities
  • Assist in continuous improvement of IT best practices and procedures

  • Assist and conduct business requirement gathering from internal users and provide solutions and write Business Specifications

Claims Services, Legal Counsel

Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate and settle all classes of claims
  • Provide legal advice on all aspects of law and claims including regulatory provisions
  • Advise on adequacy of loss reserves
  • Pursue subrogated actions against third parties
  • Assist in drafting or reviewing policy wordings and other contracts
  • Assist with training staff on legal matters and drafting of instruction manuals relating to insurance law

Requirements:

  • Degree in law with professional insurance qualifications
  • At least 5 – 8 years of experience in general insurance claims litigation
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct surveys and assess damages to motor vehicles
  • Verify and compare the actual damage to vehicles with estimates
  • Adjust the cost of repairs and finalize estimates
  • Put up survey reports
  • Check accident vehicles after repair
  • Assist in recovery actions
Requirements:
  • Minimum Diploma
  • Relevant qualifications in general insurance
  • Minimum 2 years of motor surveying experience

  • Investigate and negotiate Property & Casualty claims
  • Decide and instruct on use appointment of service providers and reserve provision

  • Issue official receipts for all incoming payments and analyse payments received against the outstanding balances including processing of credit card charges
  • Generate daily cheque listings for banking
  • Maintain the daily bank balance records
  • Handle the petty cash

Responsibilities:
  • Supervision of staff over accounts payable function
  • Ensure accuracy in payment matters and month end closing
  • Review Fixed Assets Reconciliation and approve refund premiums/ journals
  • Accrual of expenses at Month-end and Year-end
  • Attend to enquiries from clients, intermediaries, reinsurers, suppliers/service providers and operating units/supporting department

Responsibilities

  • Maintain service standards to customers by ensuring the accuracy of policy documentation
  • To meet document turnaround and stipulated timelines

Responsibilities:
  • Support the achievement of yearly budget
  • Maintain the Risk Acceptance Guide
  • Monitor underwriting profitability of all classes of insurance
  • Prepare statistical analysis reports for all classes of insurance
  • Review and update/amend policy wording, product summary, brochures, proposal forms and any other forms
  • Perform Underwriting Department’s monthly audit
  • Review work procedure to contribute to the efficient running of the department
  • Assist HOD in the preparation of documents and matters related to Compliance, Risk Management, Internal Audit, Technical Audit, External Audit
  • Train, guide and mentor staff
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification or professional qualifications in General Insurance
  • Minimum 5 years of underwriting experience
  • Good level of underwriting knowledge in various classes of insurance
