Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and lead a team of office assistant in providing full scope of mailroom services
  • Plan and organize duties for office assistants
  • Day-to-day deployment of manpower to ensure completion of assignments
  • Attend to ad hoc requests for office administration / mailroom services
  • Assume duties of Office Assistant, when necessary
Requirements:

Claims Services, Legal Counsel

Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate and settle all classes of claims
  • Provide legal advice on all aspects of law and claims including regulatory provisions
  • Advise on adequacy of loss reserves
  • Pursue subrogated actions against third parties
  • Assist in drafting or reviewing policy wordings and other contracts
  • Assist with training staff on legal matters and drafting of instruction manuals relating to insurance law

Requirements:

  • Degree in law with professional insurance qualifications
  • At least 5 – 8 years of experience in general insurance claims litigation
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills

  • Conduct surveys and assess damages to motor vehicles
  • Verify and compare the actual damage to vehicles with estimates
  • Adjust the cost of repairs and finalize estimates
  • Put up survey reports

  • Assist in recovery actions
Requirements:
  • Minimum Diploma
  • Relevant qualifications in general insurance

  • Generate daily cheque listings for banking
  • Maintain the daily bank balance records

  • Assist to follow up on outstanding payment matters
  • Provide on-the-job training and guidance to new staff on cashier’s duties

Responsibilities:
  • Support the achievement of yearly budget
  • Maintain the Risk Acceptance Guide
  • Monitor underwriting profitability of all classes of insurance
  • Prepare statistical analysis reports for all classes of insurance
  • Review and update/amend policy wording, product summary, brochures, proposal forms and any other forms
  • Perform Underwriting Department’s monthly audit
  • Review work procedure to contribute to the efficient running of the department

Underwriting (Personal Lines), Assistant Vice President

Responsibilities:
  • Underwriting, technical and product development support for the development of all Personal Lines, Bond, Commercial Vehicle and Commercial Package insurance business through all distribution channels
  • Continuously review pricing of products, particularly motor, in conjunction with actuaries
  • Review performance of portfolios and assist in achievement of sustainable and profitable underwriting outturn of products written
  • Achieve synergies between risk underwriting and reinsurance
  • Contribute to internal and agency technical training programs

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification or professional insurance qualifications
  • Extensive Underwriting knowledge particularly in areas of rating structures and policy wordings
