• Shop Contents and Stock
  If any property inside your shop is accidentally damaged or lost by a wide range of perils, we will pay you for the loss on a "reinstatement as new" basis. The compensation for the stock depends on the market value of the goods damaged.
  
  Shop Contents include landlord's fixtures and fittings for which you are responsible, tenants' improvements, employees' personal effects and sanitary ware and glass.
  
• Business Interruption
  Damage to your shop means interruption in business. We will pay you up to $50,000 in respect of additional expenditure necessarily and reasonably incurred to make sure you can carry on with your business even after the accident.
  
• Loss of Money
  Cover up to $10,000 for loss of money.
  • In transit – $10,000
  • In the residence of your directors, partners or employees – $500
  • In your office during business hours – $10,000
  • In your office safe or strongroom – $10,000
  • In your office outside business hours but not in safe – $2,500
  We will also pay compensation up to $10,000 in the event of your employee’s demise or physical disablement in a robbery.
  
• Plate Glass
  Covers glass against accidental breakage for its replacement costs up to $2,500.
  
• Workmen’s Compensation
  Covers workmen’s compensation and employer’s liability for up to 3 shop assistants (excluding drivers and delivery persons).
  
• Public liability
  Protection of up to $1,000,000 against legal liabilities your office may incur for injuries to any member of the public or damage to their property.

Optional Covers

You can choose the following optional covers to give you greater protection.

Loss of Trading Profit
An extension of the Business Interruption cover, we will pay you for the loss of trading profit as a result of accidents up to 12 months. The sum insured should not be less than your anticipated trading profit during the coming 12 months.

Personal Accident Cover of up to $10,000
Protect your employees against unfortunate accidents, anywhere in the world. Purchase up to 10 units of compensation per person, each unit covering:

• Death, permanent disablement or loss of a limb ­ $10,000
• Temporary total disablement ­ $100 per week (up to 104 weeks)
• Temporary partial disablement – $50 per week (up to 104 weeks)
• Medical expenses – $500

Frozen Food
If you run a cold storage unit, we will pay you for any loss or damage or deterioration of frozen food due to power failure or failure of the deep freezer.
