TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR HOMEPLUS LUCKY DRAW 26 JULY 2010

Eligibility and Lucky Draw Chance
|
|
1.
|
This Lucky Draw is organized by MSIG Insurance (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. (“MSIG”).
|
|
|
|
2.
|
The qualifying period for the Lucky Draw is from 26 Jul 2010 to 31 Dec 2010 both dates inclusive ("Qualifying Period").
|
|
|
|
3.
|
You are eligible to participate in the Lucky Draw if you have purchased a new HomePlus insurance policy ("Policy") from MSIG with premium fully paid during the Qualifying Period. This Lucky Draw does not apply to renewals of an existing Policy.
|
|
|
|
4.
|
Notwithstanding clause 3, you will not be eligible for the Lucky Draw in respect of any Policy purchased and then cancelled or terminated during the Qualifying Period.
|
|
|
|
5.
|
Each eligible participant of the Lucky Draw is entitled to one chance for each Policy (Superior Plan) purchased, and two chances for each Policy (Ultimate Plan) purchased.
|
|
|
|
6.
|
The following persons shall not be eligible for the Lucky Draw:
(a) Employees of advertising and promotional agencies engaged by MSIG in relation to the Lucky Draw (if any); and
(b) Employees of MSIG and their immediate family members (i.e spouses and children);

7.
|
There will be 6 Prizes (individually, the “Prize”) to be awarded in the Lucky Draw:
Grand Prize
1 Toshiba 32" LCD TV Model 32AV700 worth S$699.
Consolation Prizes: 5 consolation prizes of MSIG Premium Vouchers at S$50 each.
An eligible participant of the Lucky Draw may win more than one Prize.

8.
|
MSIG may at its sole discretion at any time substitute or replace the Prize with any other prize of equal or similar value.
|
|
|

9.
|
The Lucky Draw will be held on 05 February 2011, 2 pm, at MSIG Insurance (Singapore) Pte. Ltd., 4 Shenton Way, #21-01, SGX Centre 2, Singapore 068807.
|
|
|
|
10.
|
The winners will be notified by ordinary post and telephone or email based on last known information on MSIG record within 1 week from the date of the Lucky Draw. Such notice shall be deemed to have been duly received by the winners within 2 days from the date of posting.
|

|
|
General
|

11.
|
The Prize is non-refundable, non-transferable nor exchangeable for credit or any other item. The Prize shall be collected by the winner at his/her cost. The winner shall accept the Prize as it is and at his/her own risk.
|
|
|
|
12.
|
The Consolation Prize (MSIG Premium Voucher) is subject to its terms and conditions.
|
|
|
|
13.
|
Any Prize which is not won or remains unclaimed after 2 months of notification shall be forfeited and the Prize or its equivalent value shall be donated by MSIG to charity.
|
|
|
|
14.
|
If MSIG subsequently discovers that a winner is in fact not entitled to participate in the Lucky Draw, MSIG may at its discretion forfeit the Prize (or reclaim the same if awarded) and the Prize or its equivalent value shall be donated to charity.
|
|
|
| 15. |
The winner whose Prize has been forfeited or reclaimed is not entitled to any payment or compensation from MSIG notwithstanding non-receipt of notification.
|
|
|
| 16. |
The decision of MSIG on all matters relating to or in connection with the Lucky Draw (including selection of the winners) shall be final and binding on all parties concerned. MSIG is not obliged to give any reason or enter into any correspondence with any person concerning the Lucky Draw.
|
|
|
| 17. |
MSIG may, at any time at its sole discretion and without prior notice, vary, modify, delete or add to these Terms and Conditions and may also withdraw or discontinue the Lucky Draw at any time without notice or liability to any party.
|
|
|
| 18. |
MSIG shall not be responsible for the quality, merchantability or fitness for any purpose of the Prizes, or for the use or consumption thereof.
|
|
|
| 19. |
MSIG shall not be responsible for any breaches of contract or any actions or omissions on the part of suppliers of the Prizes.
|
|
|
| 20. |
MSIG shall not be responsible nor liable in any way to any party for any injury, loss or damage arising in connection with the Lucky Draw for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to, the redemption, use or consumption of the Prize, any delay in processing of applications, error in computing, any breakdown or malfunction in any computer system or equipment and any notice which is misdirected or lost in post.

| 21. |
By participating in the Lucky Draw, you consent to MSIG’s disclosure and/or use of your name, personal particulars, photographs, and interviews given to MSIG, for the purposes of the Lucky Draw and/or present or future MSIG marketing programmes at any time at MSIG’s discretion and MSIG shall not be liable in any way for any loss or damage arising thereof.

| 22. |
In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any brochures, marketing or promotional materials relating to the Lucky Draw, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
|
|
|
| 23. |
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Singapore law and by participating in the Lucky Draw, you consent to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
|
|
|
| 24. |
A person who is not a party to these Terms and Conditions has no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act to enforce any of these Terms and Conditions.
