Singapore, 16 May 2008 – The members of the Singapore Insurance Brokers’ Association (SIBA) has once again voted MSIG Insurance Singapore as the Best Insurance Company of the Year (International category). In addition, the company was named first runner-up in Best Claims Service Insurance Company of the Year (International category). This was announced at SIBA’s 35th anniversary gala dinner held in conjunction with the International Insurance Conference @ Singapore 2008 at the Raffles City Convention Centre on 15 May.

The prestigious awards event is held by SIBA once every 2 years. This year’s conference was co-organised by the Singapore College of Insurance. General Insurance brokers in Singapore were surveyed to obtain the results and MSIG is delighted with the broking industry’s strong endorsement of the company and its service delivery.
On the achievement, CEO Margaret Yang said, “Winning the Best Insurer in the International category signifies MSIG’s success in providing continuous service excellence to all our partners and customers. The honour of this achievement goes to the MSIG team who have consistently worked hard to keep the flag flying high. And of course, our deep appreciation for our partners, the brokers, who supported us all the way."
MSIG was voted by members of the SIBA as “Best Overall Insurer” in 2008, 2006, 2002, 2000, 1997 and “Best Claims Service” in 2002, 2000, 1997.
