The ongoing conflict involving Israel, the United States and Iran is considered a known event. The war and terrorism exclusion on the travel insurance policies may apply to claims that are directly or indirectly caused by, arise from, or in connection with war or warlike operations.

For travellers purchasing a policy for travel to and/or involving transit through the Middle East region, any claims and losses related to this event will not be covered if the policy is purchased on or after 28 February 2026, 2:40 PM.
