Notify Relevant Parties

  • Contact your agent, broker or MSIG at +65 6827 7660 in the event of a fatal/serious injury.
  • Report to the Ministry of Manpower via the website: within 10 days of the occurrence of the accident if: 
    • it results in the death of an employee
    • the employee was given leave (MC or hospitalisation leave) or light duty 
  • For non-permanent work injuries, you should notify MOM immediately if: 
    • your injured employee's doctor certified that the injuries have permanently caused your employee to reduce their earning capacity, AND
    • your employee wishes to claim compensation for permanent incapacity
  • Important notes when filing the iReport on MOM's website:
    • For this question in the iReport: "Are you claiming against a Work Injury Compensation Act (WICA) 2019 insurance policy that commenced on or after 1 Jan 2021?"
      • Please select "No" if your current policy commenced before 1 Jan 2021 and has not been renewed under the WICA 2019 version.
      • Please select "Yes" if your current policy is issued on or after 1 Jan 2021.

Submit Information

  • You may download a copy of the claim form or request for a copy of the form to be sent to you.
  • Should an injured worker or dependant of the deceased worker file a claim against you under Common Law:
    • do not admit liability, settle or negotiate settlement without our prior approval 
    • forward to us immediately any letter of demand, Writ of Summons, etc.
  • Complete the claim form and submit it with all the necessary supporting documents to us.
